Personal Background

Prosody Media is my independent, founder-led practice supporting teams and creators I bring over 15 years of experience in writing and audio, supporting AAA game studios, enterprise software teams, and independent creators.

I began my career in technical writing and documentation, collaborating closely with engineers, product teams, and SMEs to make complex systems understandable and usable. Over more than a decade, I’ve authored developer guides, SDK documentation, UI text, and instructional content across public- and private-sector projects, from SaaS platforms to AAA games. This foundation taught me how to organize ideas, anticipate audience needs, and communicate clearly — skills that carry into every project I take on today.

Alongside writing, I’ve been a lifelong musician and over time I developed professional audio skills in recording, editing, and production. I’ve applied these skills to projects ranging from albums and podcasts to instructional and interactive audio, learning how to shape voice, pacing, and narrative structure so ideas are clear and engaging. This experience complements my editorial work, letting me approach audio projects with the same focus on audience and intention.

Today, I combine that music and audio experience with my editorial foundation to produce dialogue-first audio, narrative projects, and sound design that communicates clearly and engages the audience. I guide delivery, pacing, and structure and help both professional and non-professional speakers bring content to life. This allows clients to get audio and narrative content that is both polished and intentional, while keeping production adaptable to their needs. I also take on a limited number of music projects for bands and artists when there’s a strong artistic fit.

I collaborate directly with teams, integrating into workflows or taking full project ownership when needed.
